But for CRYING.OUT.LOUD. it is 70 degrees.

70 degrees is still warm. Therefore, it is not necessary to light fires in your fireplaces at this juncture.

But I do love the smell of it.

    Yikes, fireplace??? It's 63 here right now and DH just opened our lanai doors and it's chilly.. but not enough to light the fireplace!
