Cramping?

I've been feeling really nauseous and have had mild cramping on and off for the last few days... as well as serious back aches.

Its probably not early labor but I'm just wondering if anyone else had this a few days before they went into labor?

My original due date was the 7th of October, but she was small so they moved it back, I still kinda feel like she's going to be sooner...

Re: Cramping?

  • I would call.  You're so close, and if you're iffy about your due date, it's worth calling.

I had some cramping a few weeks back and the on call doc said that if it was accompanied by pressure in my vagina or rectum to defintely come in.  So watch for that.

But, I always thikn it's good to call.  There's nothing to be gained by NOT calling.

  • Labor is near!!!  Is the cramping anything you can even kind of time?  I bet you're having mild contractions.  That's what mine felt like with both babies!!!

  • I don't know if I am a good help but I had this kind of cramping for awhile. I went into the hospital several times because of these pains because they thought it was labor and it ended up being preterm labor for almost a whole 2 months before he was born. Like Jill said, it doesn't hurt to call your Dr. Even though I hated going into the hospital all 7 times I went in before he was born, I can now say I am glad I did. I hated being sent home with no baby, but I am really thankful I went to make sure everything was ok with my baby. GL!
