I'm looking for something that Alex can play with quietly in his room during rest time. Right now, Avery is doing an amazing job playing with her babies and accessories in her room every day. Alex, on the other hand, has dumped half a bottle of fish food into his betta's bowl, bangs on the walls with his hammer and other tools, and complains that he doesn't like the toys in his room. He has Lincoln Logs, but they seem above him right now to play with alone, and floor puzzles which he also claims are too hard. He does use his Little People garage, but he gets bored with it after a few minutes. So I've been looking online and I think either the Imaginext or Playmobil playsets might be the way to go - the little men and settings, etc. would let him be creative without roping him into Batman or Star Wars or something else he's completely unfamiliar with.
All that background leads me to ask if any of you have one or the other brand, or even both, and which you'd recommend. I feel like it makes sense to pick one and stick with it so everything would be compatible.
Re: Imaginext vs Playmobil PLaysets for boys
I have no experience but DS liked this in TRU
