Winter boots

Mason needs new snowboots for this winter, and I found these and love them.  Do you think they would be ok for the snow?  He isn't boarding or skiing, just playing around in the yard.

    Those look great!  I just got Cruz a pair of kamik snow boots at the stride rite outlet in north bend for $36.  I finally just dbroke down and got them because I hadn't found them anywhere cheaper!

    Honestly, I wouldn't pay a lot for boots.  It's not like we live in Colorado or anything and are out in the snow for months at a time.  Last year I just had Jack wear his rubber rain boots with two pairs of socks and he was fine.  I didn't have to pay extra for something he wore just a few times...
