Since I've been pregnant most other drinks (soda, juice, milk, etc.) taste a bit funny. I've never been much of a water drinker until the past few weeks. I find that I'm thirstier lately since I only drink water. Does that mean I'm missing something? Happen to anyone else? I'm trying to be healthy for the little alien but it's a bit irritating to always be thirsty. I can't get stuff done at work if I'm drinking constantly and I dont want to be up all night.

Re: Water is making me thirstier!
You could try substituting in some Gatorade. I went to see my OB last week because I was having more BH than usual. After the urine test, the nurse told me I was slighly dehydrated and to drink some Gatorade each day instead of just water. She said it would replenish my electrolytes better than water could.
Don't get me wrong, it's still key to drink water. She just said Gatorade or the like would help keep me hydrated better. And I have felt much better since she made that recommendation!

Water does that to me too, but when I asked my (old) PCP about it, he said it was because your body gets used to the water intake, and misses it more when its not there?
I drink tons of water a day, and I usually only get thirsty if I don't drink as much the next day, etc.
