Side and tummy. She was on her back for the first two weeks but after being propped up on my chest for the next two weeks with a cold she has yet to return from tummy or side sleeping. We now co-sleep with DD and it is sweet so we don't mind
Back (except when he sleeps on my shoulder where he's face down but I don't really consider it tummy sleeping because he's upright, not laying down, just resting his body against my chest and head on my shoulder).
DD loves to fall asleep while on her side. Eventually she will roll onto her back. When she gets tired she rolls herself onto her side and has done so since birth.

DS never slept more than 45 minutes on his back. After 6 weeks of absolute exhaustion we bought an Angel Care Monitor, put him on his tummy and slept in his room for the first week with him. He's always been a tummy sleeper.

Tummy. Back is not always best despite what PP said. Pedi could recommend tummy for other issues like reflux.
We put her on her back, but is rolling to her side sometimes
