DS is too big for his bathtub. I got it as a hand-me-down from cousin, so I'm not sure what brand it is, but I *think* it's a Safety 1st bathtub.
It looks like this:
Is there an alternative that is good for larger/longer babies? He can sit-up pretty good assisted, but I would like for him to lay down if I can. Although, something that will get us through until he's able to sit in the bathtub on his own would be ideal.
Re: Bathtubs/Seats for assisted sitters
Yeah, that's not safe at all, not to mention I don't know how you'd get everything clean.
What about something like this? I haven't tried it myself, but my cousin had a similar one and it seemed to work well...

This is what I have. It works pretty well for my gigantic child. It's Safety 1st and I got it at Walmart.com. Somewhere around $20-25.
This is it!
DD is 19 lbs, but pretty long. She's in 9-12 month size clothes length-wise and 6-9 month clothing w/o feet. It looks like she will have plenty of room until she is sitting up better though. It's kind of hard to get her legs in and out. Not because it's too tight, but it's a weird angle and DD gets really excited. There's a space in the back I can lift her up a little bit and clean her pretty well. It's not the easiest thing to use, but DD can only sit unassisted for less than a minute, but tries to jump over the side of the infant tub or lean all the way forward into the water.
