After nearly 2 months of being on solids, DD is still not interested. She won't open her mouth for anything. I've tried different foods, trying to make it fun, not making a big deal/forcing her...but I'm frustrated. I know I shouldn't stress about it, but I want her to eat SOMETHING. I'm lucky to get 5-8 spoonfuls into her at a sitting. She nurses okay, but she's only in the 5th percentile. I was the same way as a baby (small and refused to eat) and I know her size is mostly genetic. I feel bad when I go to the pedi & they express concerns about her weight & tell me I have to make her eat. Short of holding her down & force feeding her, I'm at a loss. Suggestions?

We've done some finger foods; I'll keep trying. She loves the mesh feeders for frozen fruit cubes. Maybe I'll serve all her meals in them! LOL
Thanks ladies.
