How many of your talk to DH about the bump?

I've seen a lot of posts about you all talking to DH about thse board...My H made it clear when I was on theknot that he thought these boards were strange -- he didn't like the "cyber friend" world. Since I've been on thebump, I haven't mentioned it to him.

Anyone secretly bumping like me??

Whenever DH asks what I am doing I just tell him "pregnancy stuff". I don't get into all the details or anything like that. I think he might think it's a little strange, but understands that I need support.

My DH thinks its good that I am on thebump -- I never got into thenest but I was all over theknot when we were planning out wedding.

I mention stuff that happens on here from time to time, but I don't know if he really cares lol

I talk to him all the time about it. I've learned a lot on here and I share it with him. He doesn't mind--might think it's a little weird, but he doesn't care.

I would bump around my DH, but wouldn't talk to him about it. Now that we are coming up to the 1 year mark I've told him things like: the girls on the bump recommend starting with a RE instead of ob/gyn, etc. Now he always asks me "What's the gossip on the bump?" I tell him all the crazy story, but otherwise just laugh and say there is nothing going on.

I was secretly bumping when DH wasn't ready to TTC. Then as we started to talk about it more, I told him about it. I think he was glad I had an outlet for my BOTB. Now that we are TTC, he wants to know about all the funny posts.

My DH knows and doesn't really mind I tell him about stories he might find interesting! He also had no issue with me going out to lunch with the Chicago GP ladies!

Mine sometimes makes fun of me for it, but he doesn't mind at all. ?Sometimes he leans over my shoulder and reads some of it and laughs. ?At least they understand we need support from other ladies who get it!?

Mine doesn't know exactly what I am doing, but I tell him I am reading about other people trying to get pregnant and learning things. ?He laughs at me, but secretly I think he is glad he doesn't have to hear about every question and worry!

My husband has made lasting friendships on online forums. He thinks it is cute I play on the bump and thinks it is a great resource. We are computer geeks in our household.

My DH doesn't care at all - he knows I bump every evening. He plays his games on facebook and I don't think he views it much differently.

Nope, even though he thought it was weird when I was on the knot...I have met a bunch of the ladies on my reg. board there at GTGs, so I think he realizes it goes beyond imaginary interwebz friends.

We did have a talk about how much time I spend on here the other night though, because he thinks I talk to you ladies about TTTC more than him. I tried to explain that it is much easier to b!tch about killer cramps to someone who has actually had them, but he didn't quite get it.

I don't ever talk to DH about it, but whenever I am on the computer he asks if I am "bumping." I don't tell him that I chart either.

This is us too. He has his own man board so he gets it. He thinks it's funny when I get excited for the regulars who get their bfp's. I tell him when I learn something new. He likes that I have a place I can go to to talk about this stuff.

I used to... he thinks the info I get on here is useful, but he also says it's "pointless voyeurism", I guess with all the drama and such, so I just don't bother bringing it up.

I mostly have just lurked on The Bump but it is has been really helpful in learning about the process with the recommendations of TCOYF and FF.com and he has really appreciated all the have I learned as well. Plus, I am not telling anyone I am TTC so it helps being on here and getting to talk/read about the things I am feeling and my DH appreciates that...He does think I take some of the posting a little too personally though.

My DH is used to it since I'm a TheKnot.com trifecta--Knottie, Nestie, Bumpie. I'm also very active with my local Nestie board (although we've opened up our own private forum for it.)

Dh knows all about it and some of you too! He thinks it's nice that I have someone to chat with about all this TTC foolishness besides him. He was supportive when I g2g with some of the ladies on Saturday.

DH has a website building empire also, which he spends A LOT of time on. So that leaves me to my own devices a lot of the time also.

My dad has his own board (a motorcycle forum), so he understands... also, he likes that it gives me a place to talk to people going through the same things I am, because I don't have too many people irl.
