We just turned Gavin around FF last week. 19 mos of RF and I really want to go back. Here's why:
1. He now screams everytime we stop. He's fine as long as we are moving but he gets really pissed at red lights. I can totally sympathize- but really, this is so annoying.
2. The carseat is tethered to the roof of our CRV in the middle. It squeaks when I drive on the interstate. I will be trying some WD40 this week but if that doesn't help... he's got to move to one of the sides which is not nearly as safe :-(.
3. And most importantly, he can now see when I am eating in the car. And he wants some too. Is it too much for mommy to enjoy her ice cream in peace?
P.S. I DID buy him some ice cream too... I just made him wait till we got home to eat it. I know, I'm Mommy Dearest.
Re: 3 reasons I hate forward facing
I felt the same way when we FF at one year. She would cry and get restless easily and she would also want what I am eating. So annoying! She would have already eaten her breakfast and want mine when I'm driving to work.
No....wire....HANGERS!!!! (Sorry, couldn't resist Stacie!)
Sorry Gavin is having a hard time with the new view; I hope things improve quickly for you guys! And hope the WD40 helps...no idea what to tell you re: ice cream. Eat faster?
