Bright red bleeding after sex.

I didn't follow my own advice.  I had sex with dh last night and this morning.  All morning I had bright red bleeding.  Not enough to get on my panties, but I felt like it was pouring out when I went to the bathroom.  Sad I called my doctor and he suggested I stay off my feet today and not go in to the emergency room, since I have an u/s scheduled for tomorrow morning already.  The bleeding finally stopped this afternoon, but I am still pretty freaked out. 

I really hope to see my baby's heartbeat tomorrow.  I'm so scared and numb at the same time.

    I had bright red bleeding after sex when I was pg with my ds- and he is going to  be 9yrs old next month and he was/is fine! Don't give up all hope just yet- bleeding after sex is pretty normal. Glad to hear that you have a u/s scheduled for tomorrow though- that should help to settle your fears a bit. GL and keep us updated!

    I'm sorry you are having such a scare. I had some red blood at one point too although it was not from sex, it can happen. Try to relax tonight and keep drinking water. You cannot cause a m/c so do not even think about that!

    I am glad you already have an appt and u/s tomorrow. And the bleeding stopped so that is good too! Sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers your way! Update after your appt ok. ((hugs))

    Don't worry one bit about this! I had this happen a couple times and was freaking out until I read that your cervix is full of nerves and vessels and is very very sensitive during pg. This is what is probably causing the blood! I'm sure the u/s will put your mind at ease. hang in there!
