How many 7 month olds...

wake up to eat in the middle of the night? My DS was a decent sleeper up until he started cutting teeth. He usually would at least sleep until 4 am, but lately he's been waking up around 2-2:30 and the only thing that gets him back to sleep is to eat. He goes to bed at 8pm. Thanks and any suggestions as to how to get him back to sleeping longer would be great!

I think that just comes with the territory in teething. I'm not sure yet since C hasn't cut a tooth.. but if she need to have extra soothing during that time, I will do it. Hope it passes quickly.

Mine wakes up to eat. Like you said, was doing well (well, we got up 1 time to eat in the 11-12 hours he slept) until he started teething. Now he gets up twice. No advice for you, but you're not alone.

At 7 months, 3 weeks she's still up a lot. A few nights ago she was up 6 times. I tried motrin the next night and things weren't much better. She goes down between 7:30 and 8:30 and is up every 3 hours (and sometimes every 2). Sometimes I can sing her back to sleep but most nights it is nursing or nothing, and she really eats. I have tried following the no cry sleep solution, and while it has helped at bed time, it has not helped us during the night. At this point I have pretty much resolved myself to the fact that she's not going to sleep through the night any time soon.

We were up 2-3 times a week or two ago. Now he is getting up normally 1 time. He just cut one tooth and one more is about to come through. I dont think I will be seeing zero wake ups for awhile.

welcome to teething. After DS cut his 3rd tooth he STTN for about 4-5 days until he started working on #4 & 5. We are now working on seperation anxiety. AHHHHH
