Late Feb. mommas...when's your shower?

My sis and sis in law want to throw me a shower...all weekends in Jan. are out b/c my sis in law works then. December will be busy with holidays...so we are thinking about the weekend before Thanksgiving, becuase all my family will be up to celebrate Thanksgiving that weekend. Seems really early! Anyone else doing a Nov. shower?

    My EDD keeps getting moved closer and closer to Valentines Day bc the baby is measuring big. We started at 3/3 and moved to 2/28 at 8 weeks and now they are talking Valentines day! Holy crap. Of course it will all depend on how the baby continues to grow, etc.

    But that's not what you asked. I am having a shower Nov 14. I live 3 states away from all my high school/college friends and family, and I am not allowed to travel after January 1, and with Thanksgiving/Christmas, Nov 14 was the last real option for the majority of my guests. My 2 local/family showers here will not be until the end of January.

    More than likely mine will be in January to avoid all the Christmas mess and because I don't need much, just getting together cause my family loves doing it. But my cousin is due about 3 weeks before me and we're doing hers November 15th. It's her first and we think it will be easier on everyone to come before the holidays. Plus, that way she'll have more time to get everything set up before she's too big to be comfortable or agile.

    Yep we're thinking about the same date as well, for my shower because no one likes to travel in the snow here in Wisconsin, it'll be deer hunting and the men will be busy giving us girls all the time to do this since no females hunt in my family, except me for this year anyways. And I really want to do it before the holidays, and for it to be done and over with! I don't think this is super early to have a shower! GL!

    My due date is Feb 22nd, and shower is on Jan 23rd. 

    I like the idea of doing it in Nov. even though it is a little early, you can ensure that a lot of family will be there, especially if they don't live close.

    Looks like mine will be January 10.  I wish it were earlier, but with the holidays, it's such a  hard time to get people together for a shower.

    My due date is Feb 22 and my shower will be in middle November. It will give DH and I time to get the rest of the stuff we need without being strapped for cash and only having 1 month to order it (if we were to have it after the holidays). Plus whatever we don't get we can ask for it for Christmas.

    Not sure yet. I was talking to my friend about this over the weekend and I just don't know what will work best with all the holidays. I think I'll have 2 showers (one family and one friends) so we'll have to squeeze them both in. I am thinking one in November and one in January. We'll see....

    BTW - we have the same due date!
