DD has really - really - started to drool over the past few days. It's to the point where I have to change her shirt because it's soaking wet. Do you have your LO wear a bib all the time to combat the drool issue?
When the drooling is shirt soaking, I keep a bib on. Carters makes nice bibs that attach on the side. Also be sure you get the waterproof/lined ones. They don't soak through. I take the bib off for feedings, naps and sleeping. If DS isn't drooling as much, I keep it off and just change the outfit every so often. I also hang dry my bibs now, they shrink in the dryer and they already seem constricting in the first place.
DS was soaking through multiple bibs a day at that age, too. Like pp said, try to get the ones with the plastic backing. They'll help keep her shirts from getting soaked. However, the backed ones don't seem to be as thick, so they get soaked faster. Also, in my experience, the ones with pictures/embroidery/etc on them aren't as good. Just get some good thick plain ones (We like the Koala Baby bibs from BRU... something like a pack of 10 for $7). And yes, at that age DS wore a bib all the time, unless he was nursing or sleeping. Now the drooling comes in waves, but it's nothing like the leaking faucet of 3-4 months. We had bibs stashed everywhere, too. Multiple in the diaper bag, car, etc.
DS STILL wears a bib all the time! Between his spitting up and all the drool, we have to! I hate it- in all his pics he has a stupid bib on. Ugh.
The best ones IMO are the Carter's waterproof ones- they sell some at Target for cheaper than the regular ones, and also at Walmart they have some nice THICK terrycloth ones. They have stupid sayings on them, but they hold a lot of drool! LOL!

Yes, and I have been for the past month.
