Hey! I just noticed your DD's name is Emilia - that is L's middle name, too! - Do you also pronounce it like "Amelia"?

Soo many people mis-pronounce it "Emily-ah" and it drives me crazy. Do you ever get that?

    Yes we do!  And I'm actually shocked how many people get it right!  Not to say that we haven't had our fair sahre of Emiliy-ah's.  When talking names I always thought we were talking about Amelia.  Then DH sprung it on me that he wanted it spelled Emilia.  I figure she might hate us for spelling it like that, but she's bound to hate us when she's 15 anyway, so what the heck.

    thanks, as do you!! well i loved the name Amelia and there is a region in Italy, Emilia-Romagna which is where some of our family is originally from - it just seemed perfect!!

    Yeah I heard Emilia (spelled the same way) is pretty popular in Romania.  I had no clue.  Either way we like it.  It's unique without being too unique.
