Hey everyone! I was a heavy lurker/light poster up until a few months ago, when work got crazy..... but i'm back!
I went off depo in Feb and have still not had a period. Went in for TV u/s and was told by my MD that my endometrial lining is only 0.3mm, so i am a long way away from starting a cycle. They did, however, notice a follicle on my left ovary, so at least my body is trying to ovulate again! Found 2 cysts on my right ovary which is going to be rechecked with another u/s in 6 weeks.
My question is: does anyone know how thick"normal" endometrial lining is supposed to be? I totally didnt think to ask the MD this when I saw her today.
Didn't get good news, she basically said there isnt anything she can give me to jump start my period since there is no lining to begin with, and that even if I do ovulate it wont be viable since the lining is so thin....
any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
Re: question about endometrial lining
When I went in for a cyst u/s right around ovulation last month, mine was 10mm I believe.

Thanks so much!
My Dr said this is apparently very rare to have this type of reaction to depo, especially since i was only on it for less than a year. According to the Dr, 50% of women lose their period after 1 year on depo, whereas i lost mine the day i got the first injection. so apparently my body is very sensitive to it...
Note - i am now seeing a different MD in a different practice from the one who prescribed me the depo, because he was pushing me to stay on it when i wanted to go off- thank goodness I went off when I did!!!
I read that if you have less than 10mm, it's considered sub-optimal for implantation.
