Root canal!

It actually went really well. I am still numb. They gave me 4 shots instead of just 2. I had my eyes closed the whole time. The worst parts were the noise. I hate the sound of drills grinding on teeth. Also when trying to floss after everything was done they could no go through the gap because they got some residue between the teeth. The dentist tried to force the floss though. That really hurt.

The numbness is wearing off slightly and I feel a little bit a soreness but it is not bad.

Glad it went well for you! You might want to take a couple of advil or something, sometimes when the anesthetic wears off you get a little sore and your jaw can be sore from being open for awhile. Glad it's over for you!

I second you getting some advil in your system before the numbness wears off. It will help.

Glad to hear it went well and you went with that choice! Take some painkillers---it may hurt later. I'm so glad I had mine done--I had much relief afterwards.
