Because it's so NOT at her age and I have told him that a million times. I am glad he's trying to help, but seriously? Go to work. I can handle it. If she's crying, she needs something and you need to pay attention to her.

Honestly, I think a lot of it is because they listen to others for advice. I know a lot of old school thinking is all about CIO.
Whereas, we tend to read and research more about it. In all honesty, I didn't know the reasons why CIO or sleep training isn't recommended before 6 months until I read about it on the bump. Then I went and did my own research and read about it.
If he's really hell bent on CIO, I would print out some articles against it and ask him to read it. IMO, 2 weeks old, is much, much too young to CIO.
