f/u to my friend telling me I'm stressed- vent

So the other day I posted how my friend said I wasn't KU cause I was "stressed"

She knew I was getting an HSG and asked how it went. When I told her, she said that the problem was DH isn't ready. Even though his SA is good "the body has a way of doing things" that is keeping him from putting good semen in my ute.  Really?!  This isn't some fairy tale land, we can't use wishes or voo doo as birth control. If  "not being ready" kept people from getting KU, there wouldn't be any teenage pregnancies.  I am never going to talk to her about anything remotely related to babies again.

    Your friend sounds like a real peach.  Good call on nixing all TTC talk from here on out....hopefully she takes a hint and drops it too.

    I would have said "then it's a good thing I'm 'not ready' to smack you, or else my fist would be all over that stupid mouth of yours"

    Wow, not only has she told you that not getting KU is your fault, but now she's telling you that there is something secretly going on with your DH's commitment to having a baby.  I agree with your plan...NEVER TALK TO HER ABOUT IT AGAIN!!!

    She had cervical cancer and feels like she got it from living too stressed.  I really feel like her positive attitude helped her recovery, but I don't think stress gave her cancer. She can think what she wants about her body, but leave mine out of it!

    Wow... she just gets worse and worse in supporting you around this subject. Sounds like a good plan not to talk her about TTC anymore :(

    Wow. More than likely, it was HPV (not stress) that gave her cervical cancer. But people believe what they want to believe...
