Hey Ladies - I was recently married and plan on TTC in June 2010 however, I need to get a couple of things taken care of before this. I need to have a pre-conception visit, so pleaes recommend your OB/GYN and please share with me what you like about him/her.
Thanks in advance

I like that Seattle Obgyn has women who are Obgyns. I like that it is in Madison, which is near downtown Seattle, bus 12. I have been really impressed with all of the services that they offer--Obstetrics, Gynecology, Surgery, Infertility (recurrent miscarriages)-like one stop shopping.
I would like to deliver at Swedish Cherry Hill or UWMC. I live in the Seattle area. Thanks for the suggestions ladies

NW Women's in the Madison Tower is great.

By the way, Swedish Cherry Hill does not do childbirth. Perhaps you meant Swedish First Hill? That's where NW Women's delivers.
I second the rec for Seattle OBGYN. Awesome practice and doctors, and I really liked my experience at Swedish First Hill. I see Dr, Cari Martin, but I also really like Dr. Meghan McKeever.
I had a horrible experience with this practice. My Dr was great but the staff is awful and it would take 8 hours or so for them to get back to me when I was having problems. I would have to call several times to get a response and then a few of the times they would say things like "why didn't you call us earlier you should have had blood drawn hours ago" I think the biggest problem with this practice is that they have WAY too many clients and you become a number!
