Pregnant after a Loss

Vivid dreams - xp?

I have been having the weirdest, most incredibly vivid dreams for the last week.  Some are good, some are bad, some are boring - but all of them seem rediculously real, and I remember them long into the next days.

Last night, I dreamt that I smoked a cigarette (I quit years ago) and I swear, I could taste it when I woke up at 2am.   I also dreamed that I was fighting with my dad, and I woke up shaking and so pissed at him that I almost picked up the phone to scream at him! (I adore my father, and have no reason to be angry IRL).

Is this a pregnancy symptom?

Re: Vivid dreams - xp?

  • I've had vivid dreams with all three pregnancies, but this time around I remember my dreams pretty much every night, which is not normal for me.

  • Oh yah...  I had a vivid nightmare the other night.  I woke up freaking out.  It seemed so real it was like it had really happened..  Gotta love what our hormones do to us right?

  • Definitely a pregnancy symptom.  In fact, my book warned me about it when I read week 6, and sure enough, almost every night I have the wildest, most real dreams.  And I can remember them for days which is kinda unusual.
  • Hormones are strange.  OK - glad to know I'm not losing it!
