I have a ton of gift cards from there and can't find anything to buy. The prints on the shirts for girls are so funky. All I need are a few shirts and sweaters. Vent over
TCP is my favorite kid's clothing store! But I agree, I am not in love with their fall line. I tend to buy their clearance stuff anyway, b/c you can get such good deals.
We love their zippered footie pj's if you're in need of those!

I feel like other times I've seen cute clothes in there. Just my luck when I have free $ I can't spend it. DD is all set for fall and winter with pants and pj's. She just needs tops and a coat but I don't like those either.
I think Children's Place is great for really basic, staple items... plain color t-shirts or yoga pants or leggings, that kind of thing. Their shirts are lightweight and good for layering, and everything seems to wash and wear really well... better than some of the higher-end brands we have, honestly. I also like their footie pajamas... nice, thin cotton and come in bigger sizes.
Most of their prints are atrocious though. Every once in a while they'll have something cute, but otherwise it's all bright, flourescent patterns and sparkles and screen-printing... NMS at all.
Re: What's up with the ugly clothes at Childrens place
I know! ?I don't get that store at all. ?NMS, I guess.
They do have some cute Halloween costumes - maybe you could pick up one of those with your GC??
(read it. you know you want to.)

I love TCP! But, I guess I like to dress DD in funky prints.
