Would you think 6months-12months is a big size difference?

There is a cute flower costume I wanted to get my LO but the size is 6-12months...I thought it would probably be too big since she'll only be 5 months, but I read a review and someone said they bought it for their 4 month old

you can always alter it if its too big.

I was thinking the same thing for DD's costume the size reads 0-6 and she's still swimming in 0-3 clothes.

my dd wears 6-9 mo size sometimes and it fits her fine
