Moving to bradenton....

DH got new job and we're  hoping to find a place and get moved there in the next couple of weeks! We're coming from Clearwater area.

Any recs for an OB and Pediatrician?

Thanks!

Re: Moving to bradenton....

  • I really like my OB and Pediatrician but they are in Sarasota.

OB - Gulf Coast OB GYN - Drs. Easterling, Jamison, Doyle-Vallery

    Pediatrician - Dr. Shamsey.

  • I second Gulf Coast OB!  I love them.

As far as pedi's go, I go to one in Osprey which is too far for you.  A friend just started w/ Dr. Kelly in Sarasota.  They really like her a lot.  She has a really small practice and very personal.  She is located by SMH.

  • My OB is in St. Petersburg, but we just had our son and our pediatrician is Dr. Liliana Palacio at Riverside Pediatrics off State Road 64 in Bradenton, and we love her already.
  • I highly recommend Dr. Patricia Blanco at University Pediatrics. The practice is in Manatee county and off of University Parkway. I absolutely love her! She will take the time to answer every question you have (admittedly,at the expense of making her other patients wait) and explain things in a way that are easy to understand. I find this extremely important, especially being a first time mom!

The thing I like most about her is that she is so genuine, sincere and doesn't seem to be bothered by the same questions she probably gets a million times a day.

My OB(s) are Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Cohen in Sarasota off of Bee Ridge Road.  They're both great too although Dr. Cohen seems to be a bit more personable. He ended up delivering my son. They both work out of Sarasota Memorial.

    HTH!

  • I am seeing Sullivan in Sarasota and still need to meet Cohen. I like them and so does my Husband.  My Uncle is a surgeon and knows a lot of doctors in the area and he and his wife recommended Dr. Sullivan to me especially since he is a colleague of his. I also like their Sonogram Dr. that they use there (Dr. Urato) meet him a few weeks ago and he was really helpful and knowledgeable about baby and the sonogram.
  • I guess I should have looked at this before I asked my question...sorry for the same question.  I'll look into sullivan.  Is that off of one of the main roads in sarasota?  We live off of University.
