Were YOU born early, on time, or overdue?

My mom was due with me on August 24th, but my birthday is TODAY!

I'm just curious how many of you were born early, on time, and overdue?

Also, do you believe that your own baby will follow the same pattern? My mom insists that my baby is going to be 2 weeks late (my MW won't let me go beyond 42 weeks) because she was 3-4 weeks overdue with all 5 of her kids.

I was born at 35 weeks, my sis at 37 and my bro at 39. My mother swears our child will fall into the same pattern since my sis' baby was born at 30 weeks. I dont know if I believe her or not. Everyone tells me Ill pop any day now. We will see i guess

It seems pretty reasonable to think I'll also go a week overdue since average is 41w1d for first timers

I'm a twin. According to the doctor's estimation, we were four weeks early, but my mom thinks that she was actually pregnant and had a bleeding episode that she mistook for a period. She thinks we were term. I agree with her as I was just over 6 lbs and my brother was just under 6 lbs.

I was only one day late, but my mom labored for 21 hours with me before they finally did a c-section. I hope my labor/delivery is nothing like my own birth, I put my poor mother through hell.

I was born pretty much right on schedule, but my older brother was 3 weeks late. This is my first baby, so I'm afraid she'll be late like my brother. My MW won't let me go passed 42 weeks though.

My mom thinks this is going to work for me as well. I was born 42 weeks, 2 days. According to my LMP due date, today will be 42 weeks, 2 days for me, so she swears he will be born tonight or tomorrow. We shall see!

My moms due date for me was her bday 11/21. Which is my EDD...lol but I was 2 weeks late... 12/2 - hopefully my baby won't be late.

My mom was due January 10th and I was born December 31. She never made it closer than a week.

My first was an induction at 36 weeks, but I had dropped, though was only 1 cm. My second came on his own 13 days early. I'm hoping for an early one again, but my doctor previously said I wouldn't go past my due date due to past problems.

I was 2 weeks late and a roly-poly! I think I was my mom's chunkiest baby (over 8 lbs).

Back then they didn't really induce. They just let the moms come when they were ready.

I was born on my due date and my son was induced 2 days before his due date so he was born 5 hours before his due date.

I was 1-2 weeks early, but I'm the third child. My sister (first) was one week late, my brother (second) was on his due date. I think I'll probably go late...at least I'm hoping to go a little late. Between 40 and 41 would be perfect!

My mom went into preterm labor and nearly lost me in August after my family lost their house in a huge flood, but I ended up staying put past my due date in November.

My mom was put on strict flat on your back bedrest due to serious spotting at 32 wks. When she hit 36w, they said, ok you can resume normal activity and whenever she comes will be fine. I held out until 38w. So 2 wks early, but after bedrest.

When she was pg with my sister, she was on house-rest at 30 wks for the same thing. She delivered at 32 wks with a detached placenta. My sister was 5.5 lbs (!) and only spent 2 weeks in the NICU. We are all very lucky that they didn't both die.

Needless to say, this point in my pg is kinda stressing me out. I have become a TP checker. lol

I was 3 weeks late!

The hospital told me I was measuring ahead at both my NT scan and anatomy scan, so I will be pretty surprised if I go way past my due date.

I was born 2 months early because my mom had a sudden, severe onset of toxemia. We both almost died.

I find it really interesting to see and hear all the stories of people saying they were 2-3 weeks overdue. That's just almost unheard of these days (the 3 week overdue ones anyway).

I was due on October 19. My mom was scheduled to go up @ 10 am that morning. Good thing she did! I was born @ 12:21 p.m. I was so big that she did realize she was that advanced in her labor. I was her second child.

I was due on Christmas born Jan 13th, my mom was also induced twice with me. So 18 days late and still wasn't ready.

I don't expect to be the same as my doctor likes to induce before you reach 41 weeks.

I was very very early. I was born at 25 weeks. Thankfully I'm past that point in this pregnancy, but I have a feeling she will also come early.

My mom and I had the same due date and my b-day was yesterday. So I was 3 weeks early... I don't see that happening with my little girl.

I was born almost 5 weeks early, but my DH was only 3 days early. I think Gabby will come early too, but you never know

I know that my Dr won't let me go past 40 weeks, because of GD. She will most likely try to induce me around 39 weeks.

I was 3 weeks late and my sister was 3 weeks early. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason.
