Feeling uterus at 12 weeks?

It seems like I saw somewhere that you should be able to feel for your uterus around 12 weeks. I tried for a little while this morning and wasn't able to feel anything. Any tips? Or is it still just too soon?

Did you try laying down? I can only feel mine when laying in bed, early in the morning before the bloat comes on:) I have to press down to feel it. Its much lower than I expected too, almost near my pubic bone. I think it depends alot on your body type too. Don't worry!! You will feel it soon. I am so ready for my bump, how about you?

I'm ready too! I'm tired of people saying "oh, you're showing!". No, I assure you, it's just bloat-it'll be gone in the morning. Wink

Happy 12 weeks! YAY!

I tried to poke around for mine this morning too, and wasn't able to find it. I didn't try too hard, thinking I likely won't feel it yet. Not sure how soon it is before it comes out of hiding. Let us know if you find it! I'm sure it won't be long.

Sometimes I think I can feel mine but then I think it could be my bladder because all of that poking around makes me have to pee... again.

I did yesterday and it was the weirdest thing ever. It was first thing in the morning and I was just laying there, chillen and I put my hand on my stomach and felt a bump and I thought "what is that?" I thought it was my bladder or something. It was hard and round and felt cool. The u/s tech confirmed for me that it was my uterus. Is almost up to my belly button.
