does it really matter if he is fed solids 2 or three times a day?

we really only do twice a day, and he takes about 4 oz each time, so it's a good amount. But first thing in the morning he is never really into eating (he bf's, but that's it) He just prefers to play and eat puffs lol. So i feed him solids around 11 am, and then again at 5. Anyway, does it make a difference at this point since he is still getting most calories from bf'ing?

as long as he's happy and full then i don't see a need to do three meals a day.

My pedi said DS should be on three meals a day starting at 6 months - but he seems to be more aggressive about solids than other pedis (or, less conservative, whatever). DS also isn't interested in eating first thing in the morning - we do breakfast 1.5-2 hours after he wakes up, lunch 4-5 hours after that, and dinner at 6:30. I doubt it really makes much difference though, at this point.

I don't think it is - kiddo is hit or miss on three meals and even then he sometimes doesn't really eat much at a meal.

I think 2xs a day is plenty. ?Our pedi actually told me to only give 2 solid meals a day until closer to a year.

?DS is the same way in the morning - he isn't really interested in solids. ?So we're on a similar schedule to you and G.?

My dd is the same with solids in the am, she nurses like she's never eaten before and then isn't quite as interested in the solids as she is later in the day. I just go with what she wans.
