I tend to lump the two in together as basic educational requirements in language, as well as punctuation.

However, that's coming from a grammar/spelling/punctuation stickler.

Perhaps I should have typed "If you can't spell 'grammar', you probably also don't grasp the basic concept of grammar."

But I thought that was a bit lengthy.
