NBR: my kitchenaid stand mixer is a gift from heaven

I'm not a big baker, but I like to make cookies from scratch occasionally. Before me moved a year ago, my mixer was in storage because we had no room for it. And since we moved, it has just sat on the kitchen counter.

I made cookies twice this week (I blame nesting) and OMG it is soooo easy and the cleanup is a snap. No more sore arms from hand-creaming butter and sugar and mixing in the dry ingredients. I might be making a lot more baked goods this winter!!!

I have been wanting one of these mixers for years... I dont like to eat the baked goods but I love to bake-- I need to get me one of these mixers. I want one in the pale pink!

I bake big Christmas tins of cookies for my family members for their presents. I love, love, love my mixer!! Otherwise, I probably wouldn't do that for a gift. lol
