Ear Infections

DD has been a fussy kid from day 1.  She has reflux, is on meds, and we've been to a million doctors for that.  She still wakes up screaming from every nap & frequently at night.  This is nothing new; she's always done this.

I'm thinking of calling the pedi & bringing her in just to check her ears.  Since she seems to be in pain when she's lying down, I'm worried it's her ears.  Could she have an ongoing problem?  What have your experiences with ear infections been?

Any insight is appreciated.  TIA

    dd has had one minor ear infection but showed no signs.  pedi just saw fluid in her ears at a well visit. i'm sure your pedi has checked her ears before?  i'm sure if there's an ongoing thing the pedi would've noticed fluid by now....sorry, i'm sure its frustrating to not be able to figure out what's wrong!  poor baby!  

    they say if a baby wakes up cranky they are still tired...do you think that's the problem?  or maybe there's something else going on with her reflux/tummy that still hasn't been treated?

    i've heard you can try towels/blankets under one end of the mattress to elevate it a bit, so her head isn't laying flat... maybe see if that helps?  i'm really sorry, i had a fussy baby too but not as bad as this sounds... good luck!
