IVF ? re: uping dosage of meds during cycle (pic in siggy of DD)

Hello Ladies....I was wondering if this is normal for an IVF cycle. I am on the antagonist protocol. I started my meds on 9/11 with 300 units of Follistim. After my u/s and b/w on Monday I was told to up my dose to 375. Today at my u/s I had around 3-4 follicles on each side and some smaller ones. I was told to up my dosage to 450 tonight and tomorrow start my Ganirelix tomorrow along with my follistim.

Is it a good or bad sign or completely normal to have my dosages increased like this? This is my first IVF so I am a little paranoid about it all.

It is 100% normal for your RE to tweak your meds dose as they see how you are responding.

yeah, totally normal... especially with your first IVF, the starting dose is a bit of a guess, so it isn't unusual for them to make adjustments as they see how you're progressing.

My meds have been upped midcycle in both of my cycles so far.

Absolutely normal! They did this to me. I started on 9/4 with 75 units each of Bravelle (like Follistim) and Menapur, he upped my Bravelle to 150 units on day 4 I believe, and I also started Ganirelix that night too. I had my ER yesterday and 10 embies growing now, so he knew what he was doing!
