Have you ever let your baby nap in the high chair?

Max just fell asleep eating (reclined all the way back) - so I left him there.  I used to do that with Ian too.  It just made me wonder if anyone else does this.  :)

  • No, but our highchair doesn't recline.  I am a fan of doing whatever it takes to get my kid to sleep, so it seems fine to me.  When I first read your subject line, I imagined the poor kid bent over with his face lying on his tray full of food.  Smile

LOL no but I can see why you'd imagine that!  haha

  • Yep. Not often, but when they are just so tired and I need to finish my meal too - why not!
  • Nope, She has only fallen asleep in her booster once that I can think of and it was only about a month ago.
  • If that's where they fall asleep, why not?

  • I did that with DD a bunch of times because she wouldn't nap after that if I tried to move her to her crib.  Once I realized how quickly she was ready to go down after she finished eating we avoided the problem.
  • I actually have a picture of R sitting in her highchair with a plate full of food in front of her, and she was sound asleep.  :-)
  • No, but DD has always been a deep sleeper. I can still usually carry her from her carseat to her bed without her waking.
