I live in Wisconsin and our winters have been hideous lately and normally I end up getting stuck shoveling because I get home before my husband, but now that I'm pregnant, he will HAVE to do it! That is what I'm looking forward to most, other than enjoying the pregnancy and all. Betcha he invests in a snow blower this year!

Re: What are you looking forward to most about winter pregnancy?
I like the idea of being pregnant at Thanksgiving and Christmas, when I see all my family. Plus I won't feel guilty about splurging a little on the yummy holiday food!
And we should find out the gender around Christmas so that will be perfect timing. I am very thankful I will not be big in the summer. It won't be too hot here by the time I am due and I don't think I could handle being big in the 100 degree heat!

Having a cute little baby bump for Christmas.
Hopefully feeling warmer than usual since I'm always freezing.
And thankful that I don't have to live through a summer pregnant and dying from the heat!
Lets see...
1. Wearing Uggs
2. Hot Cocoa with whipped cream by the fireplace
3. Seeing family and friends during holidays with baby bump
Whats not to love, I can't wait!
NOT being HUGE and HOT!!!
DS was born at the end of summer in SOUTH TEXAS heat and it was miserable the last month or so! I am so happy that this babys EDD is in early may-it will still be pretty warm already by then but hopefully not in the 100s like with DS for 4 months! lol
THIS!
I do this too, YUM!!

I second this!! Especially since I live in Texas!!
I LOVE the idea of not being hugely pregnant in the summer.
And being in LA, our winters never really get cold-cold. I look forward to being pregnant (and feeling great) during the holidays (all that yummy food), and wearing super soft, warm, fuzzy clothes and pajamas.
Me too... I'm already dreaming of pies and Christmas cookies!
I do have some worries. I walk 8 blocks to work, and I'm afraid of slipping and falling on ice. I've fallen before, but this time around it's a much bigger deal. I also have to find a nice maternity winter coat... and I don't feel like spending the money! Ugh. Oh well. I'd rather be pregnant during the winter than be huge in July and August!
This for sure! I love my Uggs. I have brown but I think black one's will be on my Christmas list this year!
Gosh I don't know since we don't really have winter here in San Diego. Overall I am just looking forward to being prego although I am sadden that I just had to cancel our snowboarding trip in Japan
we are thinking of still heading to mammoth and cuddling by the fire for a few days over Christmas vacation.
I will be happy to have allot of cardigan options to cover myself up with though

We got a snow blower last year. I thought about the no shoveling too!
Oh crap! My Dh will want a snow blower too. He was close to it last year with the insane amount of snow we got.
I just really like staying home when it's cold and building a fire to sleep by at 7pm.
ditto summer maternity leave, which allows you to be outside more with a newborn.
But also, shopping for baby/maternity stuff in the midst of Black Friday and Christmas deals~I'm such a bargain shopper so I'm REALLY looking forward to finding good deals!
Being with family during the holidays.....I just feel like being pg around the holidays will be great because I don't see all my family a lot so they will have a chance to see my DH and I and be a part of the joy :-)
Oh and sweaters, not having to shovel snow and not being pg in the humid summer
WOW. I thought I was the only one looking forward to being pregnant and getting to where my uggs!
1. UGGS
2. I love winter holidays and it will be much more special this year.
3. The COLD WEATHER! I live in Houston so summer and pregnancy probably don't mix.
