Quick BG washing question

Do you wash your BG diapers with prefolds? I know they say not to, and I don't anymore.  I did once but the aplix looked more fuzzy than the other wash, and I DON'T want to ruin that already! But, it seems silly to wash a load of BG and then my prefolds. 

How do you do it?

    I have always washed all my diapers together with no problems.  I honestly don't think it's very EF to do them separately.  Where did you read not to?  As for the aplix, as long as you use the laundry tabs you shouldn't see a difference.

    I agree it's not EF.  I got it off the manufacturers directions.  I use the laundry tabs, too, but I guess I am just paranoid.  They were expensive!

    That I understand!  Big Smile I've been washing everything together for months (I think we started using the BG at 10 weeks or so).  My velcro is certainly not perfect, but I attribute that more to heavy use and not the highest quality and it definitely still works fine.  Oh, and you probably know this, but if you bought your BG new Cottonbabies will replace your diapers if the velcro wears out in less that a year as long as you have your receipt.
