From Serena, to Kanye, and Micheal Jordan...
My take on all of them... I bet they wish they could have a "do over"
I could not tell you whether Serena had a foot foul or not (was hard to tell to me...those line judges must has immaculate eyesight,) but her behavior was unacceptable. That was really poor sportsmanship.
Kanye...really what can you say he is an idiot end of story. Beyonce was a class act by allowing Taylor to finish her speech. As much as I want Beyonce to go under a rock for a few years so I can miss her...that was wonderful of her.
I don't have much on MJ...his speech was in poor taste...it kind of dampens my overall opinion of him now, but I am not much into basketball so that doesn't say much LOL.
Did anyone see Whitney on Oprah? I have to finish watching today...Dora won out in my house yesterday LOL.
Thought for a rainy Tuesday...

What about the "whiteman" that called the president a liar while he was giving his speech? Shouldn't he have to pay a fine? em! Kanye do you! Sarena do you boo boo. They get mad when black folk speak their minds, but its ok for ol whity to do it.
um, no. It is unacceptable to act like an ass in public, end of story.
I personally, did not see the Serena thing, although my DH was watching and couldn't believe the way she acted. He told me right after he saw it and just kept going on and on about how she went off dropping all kinds of profanity and just going absolutely crazy about what happened.
As for Kanye, I missed it initially because I wasn't watching the VMA's, but watched it on YouTube and also when it replayed later that night and I was beside myself that he acted like such an *ss for no apparent reason. I'm not completely shocked based on his previous behavior, but I've continued to be a fan of his music even though he is obviously a complete and total tool. However, after this incident, my opinion of him has hit an all-time low.
I missed Michael Jordan's inductee speech too, but lost most of the respect I had for him when the whole thing came out about him cheating on his wife. Probably a stupid reason to stop being a fan, but I had always had so much respect for him not only as an athlete and role model, but as an amazing person with a wonderful marriage, etc., etc. What did he say that was in such poor taste? Now I am interested, ha!

Hey Fly....here are my thoughts...
Serena...I didnt see the actual tirade but I did see the replays and I heard it was pretty bad. Now here is my thoughts back in the day when John McEnrole - is that his name? - anyway back when he use to throw his tissy fits - everyone was like oh thats just John - he would pay his fine and that was that...okay so what makes Serena any different. They fined her $10K let her pay her fine and lets keep it moving. I think they made too much out of it. They made it seem like she was going to physically attack the line judge and then they said she should be banned...for what? Yelling and cursing - if that is the case then heck over half of our professional atheletes should be banned...
Kanye.....Personally I think this boy is bipolar....I saw his apology on Jay Leno - he seemed sincere - especially when Jay asked him what his mother would think of his behavior. I think Jay hit the nail on the head. This boy has so much pain in him - that music is no longer an outlet. It is sad and if he doesnt take some time to deal with his issues - he is going to ruin what gifts God has given him. I am more sadden by his display more so than disgusted...
side note: Beyonce was classy in letting Taylor use her time
MJ - I saw most of the speech - thanks to whoever took the time to post the link. I didnt really see anything wrong with it. He said thank you in his own way. He walked through his career and touched upon the people who made a difference in his life. Who says that just because you are inducted into the HOF that you are suppose to be super humble...and say your not deserving...and blah blah blah...The fact of the matter is he is deserving - he knows it - we know it - but now we are mad because he didnt act a certain way that we as the public thought he should act? He didnt seem to offend anyone in the crowd. They laughed and had a good time...The fact of the matter is that they know him and his sense of humor better than the average Joe so who are we to say that he wasnt just being himself. But it is what it is...such is life....
Whitney...boy oh boy I cant wait for part 2. I like the fact that she just laid it all out for the world to see. She didnt dodge any questions. She answered them straight up and very forward. When she told the story of her mother coming to the house with the Sheriff and telling her - you are either going to do it this way or your going to retire your career...that was some stuff. Oh and when she told the story about how Bobby spit on her...I was like WHAT!!! AW HELLZ NO!!! I truely let the street out in me when I heard that...I looked at DH and was like if you evar!!!! He was like babe calm down...lol...Anyway I appreciated her honesty....
I think this covers everything....
Oh and one more thing....if you look at the MJ HOF speech can someone tell me why oh why does Charles Barkley wear that same blue suit to EVERYTHING....if I see him one more time on television in that same suit I think I will scream and pull out my hair....

I didn't even hear about a banning thing! That is taking it too far.. she was wrong but she is far from the first to lose their temper. No one has ever gotten banned for that before there is no way she should be the first.
I missed the Jay Leno show too....so I have no idea about his apology at all. He has issues big time.
MJ he is what he is, but if I see him playing basketball at 50 that may be funny.
I just finished watching part 1 of the interview and she did put it all out there. Girl you said it right when she told the story about his spitting on her...there is no way, NO WAY. She was honest, if you put it out there that she laced her marijuana with coke...yeah she put it out there..

I thought it was cool of Beyonce to let Taylor Swift use her time to finish her speech, until I heard that she had to be asked. I don't know if its true, but it doesn't seem as meaningful if she was asked to let Taylor Swift use her time. And I'm not sure how I feel about Beyonce's reaction when kanye was on stage.
And poor Kanye. That man needs to get some help (and I mean that in the nicest way possible). He's been especially crazy since his mom died.
