Tampa zoo???

Hi!!  I'm from Cincinnati, OH and we are headed to Madeira Beach next week.  We are thinking of hitting the Tampa zoo and I was just looking for pointers.  Any must see attractions?  Any other advice would be welcomed.  Is there an aquarium in the area?  Which would you pick to do....the zoo or aquarium?  Thanks ladies!!!

    Zoo will be rather hot right now! Plus they have extra stuff that you have to pay for so the cost of getting in doesn't cover every thing. It's nice though, not super huge or anything. I would 100% go to the aquarium! I absolutely love the aquarium! Plus they have a water area for kids so bring the bathing suit for LO if you go! Also make sure you check the weather! Been awfully raining lately!

    I would do the Florida Aquarium over the Lowry Zoo. It's a little hot for the zoo. Plus, the aquarium is only $20 per person, and is kid friendly. There's also an outdoor water area that's really fun!
