NPR: Montreal restaurant recommendations

I think someone here is from Montreal (or was). I have friends who are going tomorrow, staying in the old city, and was wondering if you have restaurant recommendations. I have an aunt who lives there, but haven't been able to reach her.

    OH!  Man, I checked this two days late.

     

    Breakfast - Chez Cora, specifically the one on Mont-Royal.

    Moroccan food - Tarot, on the plateau

    Smoked meat - Gotta go to Schwartz!

    Bagels - They really are different here, St-Viateur Bagels is really good.  

    Sushi - Bleu Caramel

    Japanese art food - More expensive, but oh so tasty! - Miso

    Hmmmm...  So many options...  I'm sure I'm missing some!
