NBR: I hate my neighbour's dog

There is a house two doors down that has a dog that they keep outside all the time.  If the owners are not home, this dog will bark constantly, over nothing.  The master bedroom of our house faces the street so when this dog is barking at night time, it is all that I can hear.  It has been barking for the last hour, to the point where I have actually gone outside to make sure that the owners are not home, cause if they were, I would have gone over there and rang their doorbell to give them hell about their dogs. 

I just called our City Bylaw officer's 24 hour answering service and all they can do is send the owner a letter indicating that one of their neighbours have made a complaint about their dog, which if I would be really surprised if I am the first person to complain.  It is 2am and all I want to do is go back to sleep, but all I can hear is this dog.  I am almost 8.5 months pregnant, I have a hard enough time sleeping, I don't need to be kept awake by this PITA dog too!

    that really sucks. If my dog barked at night I would get up and yell at her. I dont keep my dog outside. I spray her in the face with a water bottle if she barks excessively. people that let their dogs all night  should not have pets.

    I have a neighbor like this, only its that they leave their dog outside to bark all day when they are at work.  If it was at night, I would be marching my pregnant ass over there STAT to tell them to do something about it.

    That's really annoying that your neighbors keep the dog out constantly; I hope he knocks it off soon!
