S/O Cloth wipes

What do you use for cloth wipes? I've heard some people use baby wash cloths, or cut up towels, some sew wipes themselves, and others buy specific cloth wipes online/in a store.

What do you do?

Re: S/O Cloth wipes

  • 90% of ours are baby washcloths.  I sewed a couple before I realized that I'd never have the patience to make 40+ wipes (and I really wasn't saving any money anyway).  The washcloths work great.

I didn;t have the patience to sew them either... So I just got a jersey sheet, that I knew the cut ends wouldn;t fray, and cut out squares. Didn't sew a thing, and they work great.

So all in all, I have like 1000 wipes (and more if I wanted to cut more since the sheet is a king size) for less than three dollars and about an hours time cutting them out...

    Okay.. I didn't actually cut 1000...Maybe more like 100, but I COULD if I wanted to.  :)

  • I bought wipes for DS.  And I made large wipes for his hands and face, basically napkins for meals.  He carries them around and plays with them as well (the ones I made).
