Painful Intercourse? (warning: TMI)

when DH and I had sex today, it was really painful. i noticed it the other night, but thought nothing big of it. however, its only when we do it in "different" positions. the only one that isnt painful is missionary. its not so much that my vagina hurts, its more "inside", like where his tip would go.

Should i be concerned enough to mention this to my doc? i have an appt. on tuesday for an u/s to see if my mirenas misplaces (ive been having pains).
