CD 3 Blood results
So, I just got my blood results. They did not check progesterone this time.
Estrogen-68 a little high should be around 50 but apparently I have many follies at the moment.
(Which seems weird b/c I usually O late- maybe DH and I better get busy early...)
FSH-5.55
Prolactin-15.6
Thyroid-1.82
Now on to the HSG on Monday....

The numbers are all normal except for the estrogen one which is high and the fact that I have follies on CD3 seems strange to me....
They told me it should be under 50... hmmm... but they did not seem concerned about it. The fact that they said I had many follies on CD3 did startle me, though. I think I might end up a reality tv star if I get on clomid and continue to have a release of many follies... That kind of scares me. I would not mind twins at this point, but more than that... I don't want a Laura and Jason plus 8 type of thing...
I had 12 lined up on day 3 and after Clomid still only triggered 1. The office will tell you if you have a level that is not going to work, if they aren;t concerned I would be either. Soooo exciting right?
Your estrogen is high just because of the number of follies, but just because you have alot of follies at this point, doesn't mean that they will all mature and release.
Everything sounds good to me! Good luck! When are you taking the clomid? 3-7 or 5-9?

I think they want the 3-7, but I have to wait next cycle where they will start the stuff. This cycle we are still trying just going to do all the testing and blood stuff. We will most likely do an IUI with a FSH injection and clomid next cycle.
Insurance will cover 6 of them, so I am hopeful!
I won't get my bloodwork back until my consult next week, but I had my HSG today. My friend told me how painful hers was so I was prepared for the worst, but mine was completely painless. I did take 3 advil about an hour before. The RE said my uterus was "beautiful" and the tubes were clear, but there might be a small fibroid in there so I guess that's mostly good news. I'll find out more next week.

Good luck on the HSG. I didn't think it was too bad and I ended up O'ing earlier than I normally do. I'm hoping and praying the HSG was all I needed...we'll see.

Good luck with the HSG! I hope everything looks good. You and I are on similar timelines, btw. I just did my cd 3 bloodwork, and my prolactin was high so they're having me retest it. If they aren't having you repeat any bloodwork then you're probably ok. I had 28 follicles during the u/s on CD 2, and they said that was excellent, so I wouldn't worry about seeing them so early.
I did the HSG earlier this week and all was clear. I found the HSG to be very painful but the pain was over very quickly and it was such a relief to know what's going on in there. Well worth the pain! Good luck with everything.
