So I didn't tell the whole truth

In the post below for my growth u/s I didn't tell the whole truth. Yes the baby is measuring good and on time now, whew. But when we were there they saw a shadow on the brain and the doctor wanted us to see a specialist at Royal Oak. Well of course when I called right away to get an appt they couldn't get me in till the 17th.  I started freaking out in the parking lot of the doctors office and I even think my normally calm hubby was a little scared. I had asked the Dr. when she wanted this done and she said preferrably by the next day (I think this was more for me to stay calm and not panic for a week).

I called the Dr at my OBGYN and she was able to pull some strings and got me an appt for yesterday. I was actually pretty calm all day yesterday. We saw a doctor and he thought everything looked normal and the head was measuring good. No shadows on their machines! So hopefully we won't have another u/s b/c I don't want to deal with anything else. lol

We did get a good picture of the face yesterday. The baby has lots of hair which explains all the heartburn I am having and a big Italian nose!!

    Oh no!  I'm sorry that you had to deal with that scare, but I'm glad that you were able to get an appointment rather quick and find out that everything is ok!

    I am so glad you were able to get into the Dr. quickly and everything looked good!  I know we had to have an U/S every 4 months after the BIG U/S because they noticed something with his kidneys, I'd freak out everytime and I still do now (we are following-up with urologist!  So, I understand!  Thank goodness the baby looks good & healthy!

    Glad to hear everything is OK. I know how scary it is ... when they see something, or don't see something they should. At my big U/S, they "couldn't find" all the ventricles of the heart. I had to wait a week before I could get in again.

    Yikes! Now I'm scared! I go for a growth u/s Wednesday and I've just had this feeling lately that something is not right, even before they said we should go for an u/s (and this probably sounds weird but my non-cuddly dog will not leave my side... very, very unlike her so it's led me to believe that she knows something I don't). 

    I'm very glad you have a happy ending!  Hopefully mine is, too!
