I guess I'm not the norm here...but ours was $900...however, I would NEVER have spent that! MIL insisted on it...and DH let her! So I went with it...it also converts to a toddler bed and a full size head and foot board later.

We got lucky and my step-sister gave us a really nice crib (free of charge) since her little girls are in toddler beds now. The crib we were going to buy before she offered us their crib was $450.00.

My mom bought ours... would've been $350 at BRU, but then DH noticed the *exact same crib* for $250 at WalMart.

...and another $75 for the mattress that DH's brother bought for us.

It's a 4 in 1 Storkcraft (yes, I checked out the recall list). It's gorgeous and suits the mini-nursery perfectly. Smile .

My dad bought mine, it went on clearance right before he bought it was he got it for like $310 and he got it from BRU when they were having a sale and so we got a free mattress too!
