I just found out today at my first ultrasound. I've had 4 losses, and I have 2 children (ten and four) from a previous marriage! I did 50 mg of Clomid this cycle (took it with the two other kids too). I had two mature follies a week before ovulation. I have lots of questions:
Baby C had a heartbeat of only 102, and was measuring about 5 days behind. Did this happen to anyone else and was everything okay? I have a rescan scheduled for next Tuesday.
If baby C doesn't end up making it, does that put the other two in danger?
I'm also just curious to hear how far you made it in the pregnancy if you had 3.
I'm sure I'll be back with lots of questions, and leaning on you ladies for advice and support.
Re: 7 weeks pregnant and having triplets!!!
congrats!!! x3!
Get Dr. Luke's book ASAP.... you'll need to know a lot of what is in there and fast.
As others said- "they say" that if you have a disappearing multiple it does not effect the chances for the other babies to survive. I hope all 3 of yours keep on growing!
Congrats! At 6w4d my baby A had a h/b of 168 and Baby B had no h/b and measured a week behind. My doctor was sure it was a vanishing twin, but a week later she had a heartbeat. She measured small the entire pregnancy due to a poor umbilical cord insertion, but she's is perfectly healthy and is still working on catching her sister in size.
Lots of good vibes coming your way!
Just wanted to say hi - I'm exactly 7 weeks and we saw 3 heartbeats at 6w2d!
Welcome to the club, and I hope that our pregnancies are as uneventful as possible.
My RE told me that if we lose one it won't affect the other 2.
I don't know much about triplets, but want to say congrats and welcome!
Congrats on your triplets! I am sorry that I can't help with the heartbeat questions. I did want to echo the previous posters and say go get Dr. Luke's book. It is a great resource!
It was my understanding that if baby C miscarried, that it would not cause any increased risk to the other two babies.
I carried my three to 36 weeks and 2 days.
Good luck to you!
