OPK users?

anyone ever use them get negatives but still get pregnant? so far i have had all negatives, i mean i may have not ovualted yet, i don't chart, which im thinking i will try that next month. just wondering if there are any success stories?? or know of anyone with one.

    Maybe you're just missing your surge.  Sometimes you have to test twice a day when you're near O.

    Have you used them before?  Sometimes they don't work for people and it is possible you could be one that they don't work for.  I can't use OPKs b/c they just don't show my surge.  I do use the fertility monitor and that seems to work just fine for me.

    You could try charting and OPKs together to see how that goes to get a better idea of when you O.  That might be best.

    02/08 BFP resulted in m/c 4/10/08 (11 weeks)
    10/08 Clomid Cycle #1 = m/c 11/7/08 (6 weeks)
    03/09 Clomid Cycle #2 = BFN
    3 rounds of Femara + Ovidrel + IUI =BFN
    10/18/09 2nd Break Cycle (post HSG) before IVF #1 = BFP!

    It has never happened to me, but then again this is my first month using them.  But I have heard of that happening.  Go to peeonastick.com there is a whole section on OPKs that I found to be very helpful.

    I never got a positive the month I got KU. I'm assuming I just missed my surge since I've been getting positives ever since.

    I always got negatives though I O'ed like clockwork. My teensy-weensy bladder was my downfall. I could never hold my pee long enough to get the 'true' reading.

    I'd give charting a try. OPK's are great but don't work for everyone.
