where do those of you who have boys buy their clothes? gap does NOT work for us for some reason. the pants are just funny in terms of how they fit and i can tell my LO is uncomfortable in them! i'm not opposed to paying a little more for comfort. i'm so jealous of those that the gap works for - the prices are so reasonable and the stuff is super cute. oh well. thanks!!

Try Gymboree... you can always find things on the sale rack there. ?I'd also try Kohl's and Children's Place. ?
I've even been really lucky with Janie & Jack and their sale rack. ?I never buy full price there, but have picked up khaki pants for $7, among other things.
I am a Gap fan and get most of DS stuff there. I do find that Children's Place clothes have a completely different fit that Gap so maybe check them out. Their sizes seem to run bigger than Gap and Gymboree. Sometimes CP doesn't have the cutest clothes but they always have the good boy essentials, khacki and navy blue shorts and pants.
I've also noticed that different clothes fit differently between growth changes. Ds 6-12 stuff from Gymboree seemed snug for a little while and now they are fitting more losely. Don't completely rule out Gap yet:-))
