OMG that's what I was thinking too! Better go stock up on some digital HPTs, cause everyone knows those are the most sensitive and therefore the best to use when testing at 5 DPO. Naturally.
Our weekend was busy...work, college football tailgating, and Labor Day get-togethers, but our Disney trip is actually not until this weekend. So excited! I may come home with some kind of "Up" paraphernalia that would require you to give me your home address...
How was your weekend?
OMG if you get to met Kevin, I will be soooooooooooo jealous!! I will give you my address if you mail me the real Kevin, infact, I will fly to pick her up. I signed up for a contest today to go see a concert in LA. Cant even remember who it is, I told DH I would scalp the tickets to visit you, lol. So cross your fingers for me!
My weekend was nice and lazy. Really glad I finally got to clean my house top to bottom. Had a bbq one day, went to a friends for dinner the other day, and last night our other friends came over last night for a beer.
Oh- and this weekend we're going to anchorage to visit the MIL
I love her... but the rest of that house is a disaster.

If I can manage to smuggle the real Kevin out of DL, I am pretty sure you will HAVE to fly to help me, as I cannot handle such a large, colorful, and sassy non-flying bird all by my lonesome. And I fully support your intent to ticket scalp. Here's hoping!
Glad to hear you had a good weekend...and it looks like you had awesome timing for the sexy time! Yay for you! Good thing it was then and not this coming weekend at your MIL's....if you had lots of sex at your in-laws' place then I would call you and Pat the Mayors of Awktown.
How far is Anchorage from Fairbanks?
Its a six hour drive. DH and I would reschedule if it was O time when we planned to go visit, no question about it. Her spare room is 200 bajillion degrees. I complain about our hot apartment, but atleast we can sleep naked in our own home. Plus the spare room shares a wall with the nursery.
Did I mention who lives with MIL? Her husband, his oldest son, sons wife, and their two kids. PLUS two dogs, two birds, and a lifetime supply of weed. Ugh, my allergies go crazy there. And its loud.
Can you imagine trying to smuggle Kevin out of a comic-con? Surely there is security there, but your swift ways would be no match for them. I'll pick you up curbside its pats orange car.
Are you driving to LA for the event, how long of a drive is that?

Ummm, no I definitely did NOT know all those people/creatures live with your MIL. Are the kids the "cute, spunky, precious" kind, or the "irritating, don't speak anymore or I will strangle you" kind? I find that all kids fall into one of those two categories. No gray area. And do you mean weed, as in marijuana, or the kind you find in an unmaintained front yard?
Hod.the.phone. Pat's stick shift is ORANGE? Crap, now I want to learn to drive it even more. Me, cool and confident behind the wheel of that baby...think of what an awesome FB profile pic that would be!
Yep, we are driving. It takes about 3.5 hours as long as there is not a ton of traffic. My sister goes to college in LA so we are used to the drive, but it still sucks if there is traffic, construction, accidents, etc.
Oh man, I didnt tell you its orange? I just tried to find a picture of it, no luck. Its two doors too, pretty sweet, yeah?
The kids are one of each. One is 9 monhts, and a very mellow baby. The other is a crazy over active three year old with too much energy. He's alot of fun though, his mom just doesnt know how to handle him. Naturally both of our children will be the cute/amazingly talented but knows when to shut up type.
And oh my yes, the weed in that house. Step FIL grows.... the kind you grow in your basement, not your lawn. I dont really care for it. But the smell when its being smoked- dreadful!
Are you going to stay at your sisters? That could be fun! Not for me, Id kill my sister, but for you it oculd be nice. Did you decide which vendors and such you'll be checkin out while at comic-con?

Oh, you really must find or take a photo of it at some point so I have the appropriate mental picture. I can't be fantasizing about some vehicle that is totally wrong.
I just giggled to myself while picturing you standing around some smokey, weed-scented room, getting an inadvertent contact high. Really can't be good for your zygote, though.
Nah, she lives in a sorority house so we can't stay with her. My sister and I have great fun (even though we are 7 years apart in age) but she and DH have a love/hate relationship and tend to fight like elementary school age siblings from time to time. We are staying at a hotel right across from the Anaheim Convention Center, where the expo is being held, so we can just walk across the street to get there. Plus the hotel has a free hot buffet breakfast. Sign me up! I still need to look at the guide to decide what which breakout sessions we will attend. I mostly want to take pics and buy stuff. It's what I do best, really.
Funny story- Step SIL smoked while pregnant with baby #2, apparently its good for you? I'd question that. But texas77 said that they (not her 'they') prescribe weed to pregnant women with awful m/s. Who knows. If they told me it would help get me KU, i'd lit up right there.
Thats good that you get along with your sister. Funny that Ang doesnt. Im sure that gets old real quick. Im excited to see your pics from the expo. What do you think they'll be selling? Action figures?

Well, they usually get along, but they just tend to bicker and have sibling rivalry issues way more than she and I do. Pretty ridiculous since he has his own sister to do that with...he just doesn't because he can't relate to her in the slightest. Ha ha.
Oh, probably lots O crap I don't need but will HAVE to have. Merch merch merch, licensed Disney merch.
No, they don't have my sorority where she goes to school...boo, disappointing, right? Oh, well. They both have "Delta" in the name at least. Did your sis ever join a sorority?

1st- Its legal to smoke here, I feel you should know that. Its also legal to grow (not really in the quanity step FIL has, but whatev's). So if you are interested when you get here, lol. No bong required, but you roll your own.... its easy enough. But if you want a waterpipe, tahts cool too.
2nd- My sister is older. She went to college for two weeks for two semesters. One week per semester. LOL. I guess we'll both just have to make our own legacies!

Im sure you need all the crap you'll buy. I mean really NEED it. Who doesnt need a life size action figure of Jasmine for their desk. You know, to keep your seat warm when you leave. I wondered if it was legal there but didn't want to ask, LOL. NOTHING is legal here it seems. Except lameness.
Oh, yeah, I forgot you sis is older--by a couple years, right? I like the idea about making our own legacies. Did I ever tell you that Ang was voted the "Dream Man" of my sorority...which is basically like nice, cool guy who does favors for the girls and gets to be officially affiliated with the sorority? He won mostly because he hooked up cable TV in all the bedrooms.
Speaking of costumes, adults are allowed to attend the expo in FULL COSTUME. And did I tell you we dressed up as Snow White and Prince Charming last Halloween for a Disney themed party? More importantly, did I ever show you a picture??

And OMG I saw that in person at the Disney store in the mall this weekend. They also had--get ready-- a TALKING Doug. He said such catch phrases as "I hid under your porch because I love you" and "Squirrel!"

Its a bunch of dirty hippies here, so its legal. (no offense to anyone lurking on our post who happens to smoke and/or is a dirty hippie). But the laws on it are really strange. You can have it, but cant buy it, sell it, travel with it, give it away, take as a gift, ect. Its supposed to magically show up.
Victoria is two years older then me, almost to the day. Creepily our due dates were the same- hooray for birthday sex as my dad puts it. Im sure if my sorority (ours was very nontraditonal, being on a non traditional campus and all) ever had awards like that DH would get it. All my friends want him. I feel bad for their husbands, since they must live up to him. LOL
Ok, I really need to hit the hay. Wednesdays are my early days for work, boo. Nighty night princess!
