Scary day that ended good!

So today was such a rollercoaster.  I woke up at about 2am with severe, stabbing pains in my abdomen.  Lasted about 10 minutes or so, and then went away.  When I got up at 5ish for work, I was spotting.  Dark brown/pinkish color, not a ton...tried not to go crazy with worry and told myself that sometimes it happens.  Well, got to work, went to the bathroom and had a red stringy clot.  Panic time!!  And of course I'm at work and my mind is just off thinking of all the horrible things that could be going wrong.  

Well, after multiple calls back and forth to the wonderful nurse at my OBs office, she talked to my doctor and they ultimately decided to bring me in for an u/s.  She said they weren't too worried, but wanted to put my mind at ease if at all possible.

Got to see the baby, boy has the bean grown!  Strong heartbeat of 152.  No explanation for the spotting, but everything looks good.  Whew!  Relief!  Now just have to monitor the spotting and hopefully it just goes away so I can quit worrying.  

No question really to ask you all-just wanted to kinda get the scary day off my chest and mind!  Thanks for listening!

    That is a wonderful ending to such a time of panic!  I had an ultrasound today and the tech saw implementation bleeding behind my gestational sac and said to try not to be too alarmed if I pass a blood clot or have a little bleeding.  She said it might be absorbed or I might pass it.  Maybe that could be what happened.
