It seems like a waste of money when you can't use the bumper or the comforter. I love all the bedding but wonder if I could put the money to a better use and just decorate the nursery not the crib. But I also want a cute nursery and wonder if I would regret not getting the whole bedding set.

Re: Is anyone not buying crib bedding set?
I didnt buy the bedding sets. I got the accessories (Lamp, rug, curtain) and then coordinating sheets but I couldnt see spending $200+ per baby for items they were just going to sleep on (or not even sleep on for that matter)
I'm just going to buy crib sheets in the colors I like and a crib skirt to "decorate". I think the bedding sets are a waste of money since we will not be using the bumper.
Maybe I would use the quilt for tummy play time? But I'm just going to get the sheet and the crib skirt. I think you can buy crib skirts seperately.

I'm maknig my own! I can't find anything I like.... and etsy has wayyyy tooo cute fabric to pass up
I didn't get a set. I found the stuff I liked not in a set better than any set I've seen so I just got the stuff I wanted.

My friend make baby quilts (big enough for a toddler bed) so in the beginning - I'll use just sheets and a dust ruffle- but no matchy-matchy set for us...
once Lo is older- he'll have a quilt
