  I know what you mean. DS does this too. I let him play usually. It lets me get stuff done around the house.

  I wish I had this issue!

  I would let her play because when the twins come you will be happy she can play by herself.

  This is a great question  . . . my DD is really good at entertaining herself, but I, too, feel guilty at times.

  I let my lo play by herself for as long as she's content.  If I'm done doing what I was doing (dishes, laundry, cooking) then I'll usually go play with her but I think it's good she can play by herself for a good amount of time.

  I let him play until he seems bored.  Or comes over to me.  Sometimes I just want to squish him so I grab him.
